VIDEO: Porsche Camp 4S Finland – Porsche Driving Experience Center

Porsche will take you to the limits of the Arctic Circle.
So you can explore yours.

Minus 30 degrees in the snow. In a Porsche?
Porsche can warmly recommend it – the winter driving activities from the Porsche Driving Experience.

The Porsche Driving Experience offers you a number of different opportunities to enjoy handling a Porsche in winter conditions. You’ll also have the unique opportunity of learning all about the future of the sportscar: with the new 911 – as part of a special training session at Camp4, Camp4S and Ice-Force.

As the graphic shows, you can complete each level which builds on knowledge from the previous level (Precision, Performance and Master) as part of specially developed winter driving programmes on snow and ice. First-time participants start with the Precision training. They subsequently go on to improve their vehicle control further with the next level up, Performance. Only then are they ready for the Master course. You can complete the individual training levels on ice in the winter or on the track in the summer.

Porsche instructors will show you how to improve your safety – and your driving skills. On snow and ice. Pushing the limits. For unlimited driving pleasure.

This winter at the Porsche Driving Experience, they have a number of challenges for enthusiasts on snow and ice. Camp4S for example.

Once you have mastered their Precision training, you’re ready for this challenge.

The Porsche Driving Experience Center Finland on Lake Pasasjärvi near Ivalo provides the ideal setting for a further improvement of your driving skills.

With 1.5-mm spikes on each tyre, you’ll learn how to control a Porsche on black ice and in some of the most demanding situations.

‘Wedeling’. ‘Schussing’. ‘Snowplough’.
We prefer the drift.

Here is what your schedule would look like:

Day 1

Individual travel to Ivalo airport where you will be greeted by the Porsche team and taken to the hotel by shuttle bus. After checkin, relax over a welcome dinner in preparation for the exhilarating days ahead.

Day 2

After breakfast and a theoretical driver briefing, it’s time for your first trip to Lake Pasasjärvi. But don’t worry – in temperatures that can frequently drop as low as minus 30 degrees, there’s no chance of you finding yourself on thin ice. Porsche instructors are also on hand at all times to offer you expert guidance and advice. After mastering various sections of the course, stop for lunch on the shores of the lake and, later, enjoy dinner in a cosy restaurant.

Day 3

Developing your vehicle control on snow and ice requires a considerable amount of practice. That is why you spend as much time as possible at the wheel. But not just in a Porsche.

At the ‘Winter Olympics’ in the evening, you’ll also get to experience the driving dynamics of other vehicles such as snowmobiles and ice karts.

Day 4

The schedule for the fourth day includes some new training units. And, once again, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to put the skills you have learned thus far into practice. After many hours of driving pleasure, it’s then time to say farewell to the group over dinner.

Day 5

Individual departure with a range of new skills under your belt – and a wealth of memories to treasure.

The best protection against icy temperatures?
A good covering of snow, of course.

Some things in life are a challenge.
